The Roomies (Labradors)

I know you’ve all been waiting to see my roommates. Well here they are:

They’re not even acknowledging my presence!

I don’t think they’re too fond of me. I try to kill them with kindness by continuously coming back around to play but it’s not as effective as I thought. They like to circle around me and growl but I don’t let it get to me. I hang out in front of their door until they let me in. I sigh really loud and breathe heavily so they know I’m right outside their door. As soon as they open up their door, I run in and lay down next to their dogs. This usually last about 10 mins max (on my lucky days) and I am sent back to my room. Sigh…

The Fancy Life…

Mommy tries to get all fancy pancy. It started with things like organic yogurt (ehh the first one was okay but after the third, I was over it), then multiple grooming, more stupid clothes and lavish materials that I care less about. Basically, materials I rather not have but mommy thinks she’s showering me with love. It was bad enough with all these decorative items but it gets worse, mommy decides to get me A CONE FOR MY HEAD. I was barely trying to cope with my stupid snuggie and my shirts and sweaters I change in and out of but WHY A CONE! I hated every second of it. I walked in shame for 2 1/2 weeks. I went back and forth to this fat man my mom called my “veterinarian”. The guy looked like he was about to EAT ME! He wasn’t very friendly either. He took me in and pinched me with needles and then tells my mom I’m a crybaby! HOW RUDE! Anyways, after the whole procedure, I don’t hump any of my toys and I’m even lazier than I was before ☺

speaking spanglish..

Mommy likes to ichat with her friends back home and I tend to join in on her conversations as well. I'm just as interested in Mommy's friends life as she is but todays convo was a tad bit different. Linda had a frustrating day at work and work stories isn't my interest. Every organization has terminology that only they can understand. But the conversation goes on about how upset she was .. and more stuff I didn't understand.. and back to how upset she was..

I started yawning but Linda continues....

"HE MADE ME SO MAD...BLABHABLBHAHAB" after hearing the story about 5 times.. I fell asleep

..well at least I can say I was a good friend and stayed ichatting with her while she vent to me about her horrible day at work. Anyways, I hope you're feeling better Linda. You were always really kind to me so I thought I stick around to hear your story. Like, when everyone was busy getting ready on vacation, you still manage to pet me and show me love:

..anyways, the labs (my roommates) are out.. gotta run.. !!!

OH, hope everyone had a safe St. Patty's day!!!

My Name is Patches!

My name is Patches and I am 2 ½ years old. I am a shih-poo (shih tzu/poodle). All my life, I always wanted to be heard. My mom knows me best (for the most case) and I believe she understands me. I created this blog so that we can all be on the same page. So, here it goes...

I moved to Huntington Beach CA from Milpitas CA in mid/late January. Back at home, I had a best friend name Max. When mommy was at work I usually hang out in Max's room. We play, we fight, steal each other treats, take each others toys, get annoyed, and we become best friends again. Life with Max was pretty sweet. I usually get double the treats and triple the love. When mommy comes home with treats, we both receive them. When Max's owners come home with treats, I GET THOSE TOO! Life was great even with all the fussing and fighting Max and I went through from time to time but regardless, he was my best friend. I miss him!

Mommy then decided she wanted a fresh new start. I guess she didn't think of me much and how I had to leave behind my best friend but mama explained to me that she as well, will be alone too. So here I am in Huntington Beach, CA—no friends, lame roomies, and two big labs that don’t like me much. I’ll explain that in another blog. Life out here isn’t as great as it was at home but I must admit, mama takes me on a lot more adventures and walks. Anyways, many of you have already met me, so as you know, I’m always tired so I’ll update you more of my life in my next blog. Here are some pictures of me and my best friend from home—MAX:
